                                              Cool is cool...

Cool is not seeking negative attention from others.First, when teenagers and young adults attempt to gain attention from recording themselves fighting, they think it makes them cool. However, knowing how to and when to defend yourself is what makes a person cool. Secondly, when going out to party, recording yourself under the influences of does not make a person cool. Rather what makes a person cool is drinking responsibly. Knowing when to stop and when not to drive. It is not cool taking a life because someone decided taking too many shots of liquor was cool.

Time keeps on slippin...

My resolutions were to manage time, study outside of school, and stay organized. Let’s just say it is and has been really hard to master these resolutions. I have come to the understanding, that for me if I do not manage my time, I am not able to succeed in the other resolutions. Yes, I have decreased my workload, but there still doesn’t seem to be much time left. I was under the impression that Spring Break would be just that, a break. Wrong, the entire break I was taking and editing photos for my other classes. While working on my other classes, I dropped the ball with my English class. I will say all and all, I am studying more and staying organized. For the remainder of the semester I plan to really manage my time, by staying ahead of my classes. Also, I plan to alter my work schedule more, with the hopes of having more time.

When it comes to the writing process, it becomes cumbersome and discouraging. Having to write about something I have no desires to write about is very taxing to say the least. I happen to enjoy the research aspect of the process, only because I love to learn new things. Surprisingly writing has never been my thing, until I learned of its power. Academic writing is not something I fancy, however I do enjoy writing poetry. When I was younger and had more time, I dabbled in poetry. Poetry for me is freeing and therapeutic, because I am able to speak my mind and release any frustrations.
